About Us
Our church is nestled on two acres of land in Far Northeast Philadelphia. When you step inside the historic building of Berean Bible Church, you will see a bit of a the old and modern touch. You will be greeted by friendly people who love the Lord Jesus Christ. We are a group of believers who faithfully study the Bible and encourage one another in the Lord.

What we believe
We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired Word of God.
We believe that God is Triune; that there are three eternal, co-equal, Divine Persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one God.
We believe in the eternal Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He is true God and true Man in One Person—without sin nature or sin.
We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam’s sin the race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; and that mankind is in a state of depravity, and of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition.
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the precious Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead and ascended into Heaven; that He is the only Mediator between God and man.

How do you get to Heaven?
The Bible reveals that God is the Creator of the whole universe (Genesis 1:1-2).
The Bible reveals that God loves the whole world, no matter who you are or what you have done. He proved this by sending His only-begotten Son into this sinful world to die for all sinners (John 3:16).
The Bible reveals that everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We all know that we have thought and done wrong things (Romans 3:10, 20, 23; 6:23).
The Bible reveals that God came in the flesh in the Person of His Perfect and eternal Son to die for our sins. Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, lived a sinless life and became the perfect sin offering for the whole world (Romans 3:24; 6:23).
The Bible reveals that salvation from sin and hell is not by good works or deeds but by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His death on the cross (John 3:36; Ephesians 2:8-9).
The Bible reveals that one must admit their sinful and lost condition and must personally call upon the Lord Jesus Christ by faith to receive the forgiveness of sins (John 6:47; Acts 3:19; 16:31; Romans 10:9-10).
